Shaping our Appalachian Region, INC. (SOAR) is soliciting proposals from professional Geographic Information System mapping technology firms to visually display the technology-sector capabilities in the Appalachian Region as a part of the feasibility study for the development of an Appalachian Technology Council. While there is an opportunity for continued engagement and services long term, the initial term of this project will end on September 30th. As such respondents are encouraged to reply quickly and if selected develop at least an initial version of the work under a short time period. Respondents are encouraged to ask any clarifying questions and proposals exceeding the maximum budget will be considered provided respondents can adequately demonstrate added value for our the development of our technology council. Initial responses are requested by August 1st although earlier responses will be given priority consideration.
