This position’s primary role is to locate, map, input, categorize, analyze, and report on all appropriate campus and College geospatial data. Position will be responsible for collection of data in the field using mobile applications such as Esri Collector/GPS units, etc. and for converting existing CAD drawings into
suitable GIS file types where possible. Position will maintain geospatial data and assets with accuracy, consistency, and care in order to provide service with maps, GIS reports, recommendations, etc. to multiple departments across campus as needed. The position will be a critical control point going forward in the FM area of the College to assure on-going accuracy with the GIS metadata files. The position will be responsible for on-going spatial data maintenance and end-user support. Normal working hours for the position are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00, but occasional shift work or overtime may be a necessary
and required part of the job.
