Ms. Morrow earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Western Kentucky University in 1999. She began her career in GIS in 2000 after being offered an internship at the Pennyrile Area Development District in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Soon thereafter, the agency offered Ms. Morrow a full-time GIS Technician position, where she remained until 2004. During that time, Ms. Morrow managed the initial collection for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet road centerline project for all nine counties in the Pennyrile region.

After a brief sabbatical to care for her newborn daughter, Ms. Morrow returned to public service in 2006, at which time she was offered the GIS Manager position for the Barren River Area Development District in Bowling Green, Kentucky. For the last thirteen years, Ms. Morrow has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for the citizens of the Barren River region. Working at a regional agency has afforded her the opportunity to work with some of the greatest GIS minds from across all levels of government as well as the private sector. Ms. Morrow’s most notable accomplishments during this time are her work in the creation and maintenance of data used in 911 systems throughout the region, and enabling community leaders to provide information to their constituents through the use of online mapping applications and dashboards.

In her spare time, Ms. Morrow enjoys serving in the music ministry at her church, traveling with her husband and attending her children’s sporting events.
