I currently work for the Commonwealth Office of Technology, GIS Branch (aka DGI) as a systems engineer. My GIS experience over the past several years includes working in various sectors such as environmental analysis, transportation, database management, etc. With DGI, I ensure that customers searching for Kentucky GIS resources have access to authoritative sources (KyGeoNet, KyFromAbove, Elevation Services, FTP, etc).

This is my fifth year as a member of KAMP, where I have served as a director for two years. In addition, I am also KAMP’s first governor-appointed representative of the Geographic Information Advisory Coucil (GIAC). I take pride in my position representing the interests of those in our profession on the GIAC and as a director. As a director, some issues I find very important are updating our archaic membership process and re-focusing our 501(c)3 efforts.
