Executive Board Meeting

The Executive Board of the Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals (KAMP), meeting via e-mail, was called to order by President Michelle Ellington at 8:55 am.

ANNUAL AWARDS

The Executive Board received the recommendations of the KAMP Awards Committee (chaired by Paul Vidal) for recipients of the annual Service to KAMP award, the annual Service to the GIS Community award, and the annual Exemplary System award. These three awards are traditionally made at the annual Ky GIS conference. Kenny Ratliff moved that the Service to KAMP award be made to Kyle Snyder (seconded by Stephen Berry). Stephen Berry moved that the Service to the GIS Community award be made to Curt Bynum (seconded by Mark Wiljanen). Stephen Berry moved that the Exemplary System award be made to the Kentucky Mine Mapping Information System (seconded by Mark Wiljanen). All three motions passed unanimously.

The Executive Board thanks Paul Vidal and the Awards Committee for their work in preparing nominations for the Annual KAMP awards.

The meeting of the Executive Board of the Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals was adjourned at 1:46 pm.
