KAMP Conference Call Meeting Notes 7/13/2007

Jim Lorenz, of MS Virtual Earth will be attending the KAMP meeting at the conference. Microsoft has donated several items for giveaways, such as pens, two MapPoint 2006 with GPS Puck, and a Xbox Controller. Michelle requested to purchase a fish bowl to hold business cards dropped in to win the prizes. The cards will be given to Jim Lorenz at the end of the conference.

Michelle requested shipping reimbursement for returning the MS Virtual Earth banner back to Jim Lorenz.

Michelle will get a quote for 75 T-shirts, blue with the KAMP logo and MEMBER/VOLUNTEER text in the left corner where the pocket would go. They would not be time oriented and can be sold at any time afterwards. It was agreed to purchase a total of 75 shirts. T-shirts will go to volunteers for free and cost all other members (approx $10) at the conference.

Trisha will ask Lynn Imaging to potentially provide one or two KAMP banners for the KAMP conference booth. KAMP has a current quote of $110 for two banners with a 3′ width maximum size with the logo.
KAMP may have a social after the meeting at the conference.  Stevie Rays and/or 4th Street Live were two suggestions in downtown Louisville.
Mike Greene, FMSM Engineers, is going to be a new web administrator for KAMP.  Ideas of bringing more traffic and a variety of members was mentioned.

AutoDesk University was mentioned in regards to KAMP having a KAMP-OUT gathering there this year.

Nominations are coming along.  Procedure was reviewed.  Michelle will give each nominee a chance to submit a biography to be read at the meeting before votes are taken.

Corporate list database needs to be updated and to clarify their 3 members each year.
