Position: LiDAR/Imagery Processing Technician

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:  Performs GIS and LIDAR/Ortho data processing, as well as tasks relating to LIDAR/Ortho data capture and creation.

  • Reads, analyzes, and interprets general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Assists in writing technical specifications, procedures, and applications.
  • Knowledge of GIS utilizing ArcINFO, and LiDAR/Ortho related software applications.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Preferred Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree.
  • Availability to work weekends and overtime on occasion.
  • Basic computer and Internet skills are required working in a Windows environment on a PC.
  • Applicable technical training.
