Did you know there is an easy to use desktop GIS viewer that is free, and supported by the federal government? It is called MARPLOT and your local HAZMAT responders know how to use it. A product by NOAA, EPA, USGS, the Census Bureau, it was intended for first responders to plot downwind plumes at chemical spill sites. However, it can be used for many general GIS purposes as well. This webinar will show you how to get it and a few examples of what it can do. Only a general knowledge of GIS files (shapefiles, KMLs, etc.) is needed.
