My name is Taylor Tieche and I am running for a KAMP Board of Director’s position. I have worked in GIS for 6 years, starting in 2016 with an internship mapping Glacial Geomorphology in the Chirripó National Park in Costa Rica. I am a Regional Technical Manager at Eagleview, where I assist local government with deployment, staff training, and integration of high-resolution oblique and aerial imagery into their systems. This has given me an opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of GIS public officials and mapping professionals across 80 counties in the state. I am proud to use my knowledge of GIS to help property valuation offices, public safety, and GIS groups improve efficiency, gather information with higher accuracy, and store and disseminate geographic data easily and proficiently. I joined KAMP this year, and am excited to bring the diverse knowledge I have gained throughout my career to the Board of Directors. I am honored to be nominated for this position, and would be grateful for the opportunity to foster use and understanding of GIS and data management across Kentucky.
