You are invited to submit proposals for presentations at the 2019 Kentucky GIS Conference.

We are pleased to have two days of sessions on Thursday, October 10th and Friday, October 11th 2019. This is a great opportunity for our GIS, mapping, and geospatial community to showcase their work, educate others, and share professional experiences. Please follow the link HERE to submit your proposal.

Presentations by vendors and consultants are welcome as they are often most familiar with new technologies. However, in the interest of maintaining a focus on research and education in presentations, commercial content should be kept to a minimum. Most sessions will be 30 minutes including time for Q&A. There is potential for 1-hour technical sessions as well.

Each breakout session room will be equipped with a screen, computer projector and a microphone system. Each presenter should make arrangements for their own laptop computer for the presentation. If you require any other assistance, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your request within reason.

SELECTION CRITERIA
The program committee will evaluate presentation proposals and fill the time we have with the most appropriate presentations based on:
§ Technical content (preferred)
§ Interest to attendees
§ Originality
§ Quality of preparation
All presentations will be conducted on a voluntary basis. All speakers will earn points toward their GISP and other certifications and re-certifications.

The deadline for submissions is end of business July 31st, 2019. Please click HERE to submit your presentation proposal.

For questions about presenting, please contact Andrew McKinney at: Andrew.McKinney@louisvilleky.gov
