The Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals would like to offer your company an invitation to participate, as a sponsor, at the 2011 Kentucky GIS Conference. This conference provides an excellent networking tool to reach many businesses and agencies who utilize both your services and your products.
There will be two receptions this year. Tuesday night’s reception will be a beer and wine tasting with a showcase of, “Killer Apps with Killer Snacks.” The AppDev night went over so well last year, so we are bringing it back to this year’s conference. Vendors will be hosting an applications contest which will be featured during the Tuesday night vendor reception. The request has been made that the author of the application present in a lightning round format in three minutes or less at the showcase. The theme for this year’s Wednesday night Exhibitor Reception is “Tailgating with the Vendors”. Attendees will show support for their favorite sports team, whether collegiate or professional, by wearing team apparel. Feel free to join in! Vendors will be offered five minutes during the reception to talk about their company and current projects.
Sponsors logos will be featured during each of these events on signage. Printed conference materials, such as the program, will contain the logo and contact information. Additionally, there will be verbal recognition of the sponsors by the emcee at the receptions. Any items donated for door prizes would be displayed with the sponsor’s name and logo. If possible, we would like this year’s door prizes to follow the Tailgating theme.
