Position Description:

Teksystems is seeking a Geo-spatial Database Engineer for a contract to hire position at Fort Campbell, KY.

The database engineer must possess the skills to accurately edit Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) or Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data, orthorectify remotely sensed (satellite) imagery, identify and digitize cultural features over geospatially accurate imagery, employ imagery exploitation software to create 3-deminsional models in order to produce a portable virtual database for situational awareness or course of action development.

Candidates should possess working knowledge of Socet Set/GXP, Global Mapper, ESRI ArcMap, Portable Flight Planning Software (PFPS), TopScene Model 40, and Digipede Network capabilities. Additional knowledge of ERDAS Imagine, Presagis Creator, Presagis Terra-Vista, RemoteView Electronic Light Table (ELT), Presagis Creator.

Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Salary is $65-$70K
