Kentucky From Above!

The Commonwealth is pleased to announce the release of the Kentucky From Above! website at http://kygeonet.ky.gov/kyfromabove/.  This site is home to the newly formed Commonwealth Imagery and LiDAR Partnership.  An overview of the partnership’s effort and background information can be found on the site.  Please take a few minutes to complete the online questionnaire (top link in the left navigation panel) for your area as it will help us gauge the level of interest across Kentucky.

Also, pay special attention to the “Related Links” and documents from “Other States”. The LiDAR/DEM Comparison and the ROI document from Indiana are especially good resources.  Stay tuned as the site content will be updated on a regular basis.  Also, if you’d like your entity name added to the Partners Listing please let us know at DGI.  Stay Tuned!
