The annual conference of the Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors will be held in Lexington, Kentucky on February 19-21, 2009. KAMP has been invited to share an exhibit booth with KAPS. KAMP members will be operating the booth, explaining KAMP to KAPS members, and hopefully, recruiting some of them into KAMP.

Two KAMP Members, Christy Powell, President-Elect, and Trisha Brush, President Emeritus, will be giving a presentation on LIDAR to the KAPS membership. This is a great opportunity for KAMP and KAPS to mingle and discuss their common purposes.

I hope all KAMP members will support their local surveyors and foster understanding between mapping professionals and surveyors.
