The 2009 Kentucky Geospatial Summit will be held September 9-11, 2009 in Frankfort, Kentucky at the Capital Plaza Hotel.

This will be an educational and entertaining opportunity for Mapping Professionals, across the Commonwealth, to participate in a statewide mapping conference in 2009. The Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals (KAMP) will be developing, organizing, and hosting the conference. KAMP members are strongly encouraged to attend, but anyone with a passion for mapping science and service in Kentucky is also encouraged to attend.

The Wednesday, Pre-Conference Workshops and Geocache Event are INCLUDED IN THE SUMMIT REGISTRATION. There is no additional charge, but you must register for these events. They are first come, first served.
  
The 2009 Kentucky Geospatial Summit is open to all*.
*Registrations for all workshops and conference activities will be filled on a first come-first served basis.
 
REGISTRATION BEGINS FOR KAMP MEMBERS: June 1, 2009 
GENERAL REGISTRATION BEGINS: June 15, 2009
 
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS: Anyone who would like to present a project, idea, or technology at the Geospatial Summit should submit an abstract to vicepresident@kampro.org. The only requirement for consideration is that the presentation be related to the mapping profession. 
 
DEADLINE FOR PRESENTATION ABSTRACTS:  *Extended to June 22, 2009
