A few days after the Cyclone Nargis hit various areas of Myanmar (Burma), representatives from UNOSAT, the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Operational Satellite Applications Programme, contacted GISCorps and shortly after that, submitted a request for 20 volunteers.
