Do you use 9.1 or 9.2?

November 8th, 2007 · No Comments

Our office upgraded within a week or two of receiving the software, primarily to try the geodatabase replication. We were creating address ranges for our dispatch center and needed multiple users editing the same data. We had some problems reconciling the data early on that ESRI couldn't solve either and it lost us a day's worth of work. We were using tools in ArcCatalog, but they told us to use the tools within ArcMap instead.

We're using SP3 now and one of the biggest bugs we've had since we first installed 9.2 has been ArcMap crashing when we click the Find tool.

We've heard some users of older AutoCAD versions haven't been able to open files we've exported to their versions.

I'll gladly work through the problems to finally make use of the scroll wheel. We've like the batch processes in Toolbox, too.
